#MovietimeInManhattan #AGOODERSON @WBD A GOOD PERSON ARRIVES ON BLU-RAY ON MAY 30 RECOMMENDED BY WHOMYOUKNOW @MANHATTANPEACHY #PEACHYDEEGAN

A Good Person starts off swimmingly, literally!  It's a human-interest, feel-good movie over its course of two hours, and both Florence Pugh and Morgan Freeman deliver spectacular performances of troubled characters with heart.  The quality of performances supersedes the script; the pronounced authenticity is laudable.

Rod Stewart: we know you like model trains so check out the ones here in the basement!

Pugh proves to be a chameleon, the goal of all great actors, as she makes a night and day change from when we last saw her in Olivia Wilde's Don't Worry Darling.  We like her character's commitment to the difference between decor and decorum.

Everyone has problems and these characters certainly do: this is a movie for anyone battling adversity.

So often, movies celebrate what is not real.
This one celebrates truth and reality; A Good Person is Recommended by Whom You Know.

Celebrated writer/director Zach Braff’s (TV’s “Scrubs,” “Garden State”) latest film A Good Person, from Metro-Goldwyn Mayer Pictures, will be available for purchase on Blu-ray on May 30.
