There is no good reason as to why it took this long.

All we can say is good things come to those who wait.

Previti Pizza was first featured in Terrific Takeout in 2013 because Peachy walked by it on her way to see Garo and get her teeth cleaned. Cosmopolitan Dental is exactly the only place to go to get your teeth clean, and Previti Pizza is one place we go to get them dirty! Previti was last featured in 2022.

Everyone these days starts off with an inaugural feature in Terrific Takeout, even if you are a celebrity chef. But if you were featured many years ago as a Peachy's Pick right off the bat, you are grandfathered in like Da Umberto. To graduate to Peachy's Picks means we have complete confidence in your quality, and we want to see you keep it up.

Peachy's Picks are the top of the heap, king of the hill, a number one because this is New York.

OK, so what makes Kevin's place better than a neighborhood pizza joint?

Pictures speak louder than words.

Check out the above Monte Carlo. It's not just a Chevrolet.

But if you name your food after a car, we might want to eat it more and readers know the Daytona 500 is in 2 weeks.

Chicken is topped off with Prosciutto, roasted red peppers, HOMEMADE FRESH MOZZARELLA ON PREMISES, and it luxuriates in a brown gravy sauce with sherry wine.

We don't remember seeing this at any other pizza place ever, and it is delicious.

Not all grinders are created equally.

Some are just superior.

Meet the Grilled Chicken Broccoli Rabe grinder.

We bet you have never had it anywhere else either because no one else is as creative as Kevin Wade.

We love the array of vegetables singing a song of nutrition here and the chicken is moist perfection.

If your sandwich doesn't contain so much color and vivid fun indicative of nutrition, it is time to up your February and spice up your life.

Though we do not consider salad the entree, we do consider it an absolute necessary component to all successful meals. The Arugula salad at Previti is in a word: phenomenal.

It also boasts red onions, halved cherry tomatoes and capers and OBVIOUSLY PEACHY'S MOST FAVORITE VEGETABLE: shaved parmesean.

This is no wimpy salad: look at the depth!

Ziti comes with your entree and as you can see: it is HOT!

If you could eat the screen you would also know it is perfectly al dente and delicious.

Since you can't eat the screen, you'll have to take our word for it and order for yourself. They have three locations in the east side of Manhattan.

Pictures don't lie, and we never edit them. This is the truth.

The Caesar Salad is also a strong component of the menu, and all ingredients are fresh and unlike some egomaniac restaurants that don't listen and absolutely must dress their caesar salad when we don't want it that way, Previti listens and Peachy applied the salad dressing as she saw fit!

...and obviously at Previti the piece de resistence is the PIZZA.

You're going to want to get up close and personal with your pie of perfection.

And then eat it to death!

The music is also great from Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch - and we hope you are watching his brother Donnie in the last season of Blue Bloods - to the Spice Girls. We'll tell you what we want, what we really, really want: a large pizza with mushrooms, spinach, garlic and onions! That is four vegetables not counting the tomatoes which are also we guess both a fruit and a vegetable. Peachy's not a doctor or a nutritionist, just merely an arbiter of taste. Yes you want this pizza, and you should also know if you want it neat or straight like we have scotch, the neat, straight pizza version of large cheese is absolutely just as wonderful.

And what are YOU eating for the Grammys you ought to be asking yourself?

We guess in the middle of the USA there are great plains, but we prefer to eat the great plains of Previti pizza. In Manhattan!

Be a little naughty and indulge in some root beer.
