#SmallScreenScenes @enews CONGRATULATIONS @REBA XO PEACHY Live From E! Exclusive Emmys 2025: Reba McEntire and Rex Linn Confirm Engagement at Emmys 2025

Reba McEntire and Rex Linn have found their happy place at the Emmys 2025.

After all, the Happy's Place costars are engaged after five years of dating, they confirmed in an exclusive interview with Live From E!: 2025 Emmys correspondent Zuri Hall on the red carpet outside of Los Angeles' Peacock Theatre Sept. 14. (Click here to see all the celebrity arrivals.)

After Zuri referred to Rex as Reba's fiancé and her castmate on the NBC sitcom, the country music singer happily shared, "We're having a blast on Happy's Place and so glad to be here tonight."

The couple—who first met in the '90s, but started dating in 2020 after reconnecting on Young Sheldon—were at the awards ceremony to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Golden Girls, with Reba performing a musical tribute.

"It's a show that you can watch forever," Reba told Zuri, before Rex jokingly chimed in, "If you're not a fan of The Golden Girls, it would be like not liking puppies."

In fact, the actor said he'd sometimes catch Reba "late at night watching reruns" of the long-running series.

"I'm more like Dorothy," Reba shared, referring to Bea Arthur's character. "I'm to-the-point, blunt."

And the "I'm a Survivor" singer certainly does not beat around the bush when it comes to affairs of the heart. As she previously told E! News, she is "truly committed" to Rex—so much so that she would walk down the aisle for a third time.

"If that's something he feels totally strong about, that's fine with me," Reba—who was married to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987 and to Narvel Blackstock from 1989 to 2015—shared in an April 2024 interview. "He's never been married before. So, if he wants to experience that, I'm OK with that."

Plus, the Grammy winner quipped that she and Rex at have been "pretty much inseparable ever since June 16 of 2020."

"It was just like a magnet," she recalled of their first meeting amid the pandemic. "We created an intimacy by texting and talking over the telephone that we wouldn't have gotten if we'd have been together all of that time."
