#MoverandShakerPictureoftheWeek #MoverandShaker #GerardoBruno Accepts the Top Italian Restaurants Award from #GamberoRossi for #SISTINA by #GiuseppeBruno Congratulations to the Bruno Family!
Mover and Shaker Gerardo Bruno
We were delighted to see Mover and Shaker Gerardo Bruno recently accepting the Top Italian Restaurants Award on behalf of Sistina by Giuseppe Bruno! Sistina was last featured here, Caravaggio was last featured here, and Sistina was first reviewed here and in 2011, like many places we wrote about early on, was one of our favorites that we introduced to the online concept as they hadn't had a website at that date. San Pietro was last featured here and we were honored to have our cocktail at all three venues then.

The Gambero Rosso site tells us:
About the Tre Bicchieri Tour
Gambero Rosso, the global authority on Italian wine, food, travel and culture, is perhaps best known in the United States as the publisher of the annual guide to Italian wines, the Vini d’Italia. Featuring more than just reviews of Italy’s finest wines, Vini d’Italia covers the brilliant, passionate individuals who devote their lives to winemaking. Today, more than 70 expert tasters comprise the team that blind-tastes 45,000+ wines annually, rating them on a scale of one to three glasses (bicchieri). Of these many thousands of wines, fewer than 1% achieve the Tre Bicchieri designation, a ranking reserved for only the best wines from each vintage.
Each year, Gambero Rosso facilitates a global tour at which producers of Tre Bicchieri-awarded wines are invited to showcase their wines to wine importers, wholesale buyers, retailers, restaurateurs, educators and the press. Each tour stop also includes a set of Master Classes, which spotlight different regions of Italy and the most exciting grapes and wines emerging from those regions.
