Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa is bringing the magic of Christmas to Ka‘anapali Beach with its second annual partnership with The Elf on the Shelf®, the beloved holiday tradition featuring Santa’s official Scout Elves. This December, families visiting the resort can take part in the 12 Days of Christmas Scout Elf Search, with daily prizes and surprises for those who spot the elf and welcome the new Elf Pets® Reindeer joining the holiday festivities for the first time. Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa is the only U.S.-based resort to partner with The Elf on the Shelf, offering families a unique opportunity to experience the beloved tradition during their holiday stay.

The holiday fun begins early with Hyatt Regency Maui and The Elf on the Shelf celebrating National Beach Day on August 30 with a special social media giveaway. One lucky family will have the chance to win a four-night stay at the resort, daily breakfast, a family dinner at the resort’s signature oceanfront restaurant, Japengo, and a special gift from The Lumistella Company, home of The Elf on the Shelf Santaverse™. Giveaway details and entry information will be available on Hyatt Regency Maui’s official Instagram channels.
Throughout December, guests can welcome an Elf Pets Reindeer into their family with a gift set available through the resort's amenity offerings menu. The festive set includes an illustrated storybook, a plush reindeer, a golden heart charm, and an official adoption certificate, along with milk and cookies to create a memorable in-room holiday experience.
From December 14 through December 25, families can once again take part in Hyatt Regency Maui’s 12 Days of Christmas with a daily Scout Elf Search throughout the resort. Guests will receive interactive clues leading them around the resort as they look for the Scout Elf in a new location each day. When children spot the hidden elf, they can snap a photo and visit the resort’s Recreation Desk to receive a special surprise. Official The Elf on the Shelf coloring pages, available at the resort and online at hyattregencymaui.com, along with additional holiday surprises throughout the holiday season, can also be enjoyed.
