Fashion Alert: Introducing the Bina!
I love the idea of the Bina. A piece of fabric that can be manipulated into multiple different fashion accessories and clothing. My versatile black Bina is made of super soft fabric. There are at least 12 different ways of wrapping this fabric around your body and head to make fashion statements. From Shirts to scarves to wraps, the Bina aims to please every single body type. Thank goodness they provide a instructional booklet to help you get started. It took me a couple of tries to get it to look just right, but I was thrilled once I did. Practice does make perfect as you may need to try out the different styles to see what looks best on you. Great to bring on trips that you do not have a lot of room to pack different outfits. Move over pashmina here comes the Bina!
Versatile, portable, easy to use, and an all-around fashion godsend. That's what the Bina is! The girl-on-the-go's answer to the Pashmina, the Bina is made to adapt to your needs in seemingly endless ways! It can be a scarf, a wrap, a shrug, a blouse, a stole, a tunic, a poncho, a headscarf, and more! Its uses are limited only by the limits of the imagination. To describe it simply, it's a large piece of high quality, extra-soft fabric that has two slits and a number of snaps. Based on how you wrap, twist, and snap it, it can be used in any number of ways! It comes with a great handbook that gives step by step instructions to create numerous looks, and there are also "how-to" videos online. I'm usually a complete klutz when it comes to fashion items that require "assembly" and coordination, but I found the Bina remarkably easy to use - the instructions are straightforward and easy to follow and the results are terrific! What I love about it is that it allows you to create any number of looks while wearing the exact same outfit! And it's portability is great - it can easily be stashed in a handbag and carried along to virtually any occasion so that it's ready if needed! A must-have for the modern city-dwelling gal!
I am one of those people that owns too many pashminas, scarves, wraps, ponchos, etc...I admit it. I cannot help myself, but often I wish that I could just find a way to get more use out of them. Too often when packing for a quick getaway my baggage will even beg me for a way to get more use out of them! Now I am LOVING the Bina! It is the best idea in "wraps" that I have ever heard of. So far, I have dound 12 stuling options and all are super cute! Easily the best thing about the Bina is that it can take you from day tonight with just a few snaps! This past weekend I wore the shrug style in the afternoon, but when we decided to go out for dinner I re-wrapped and wore the Back Wrap (a one shoulder style). My sister-in-law, literally, couldn't get enough. It created so much stir that the next day I had to bring out my Bina for a demo session. Needless to say, she has since puchased her own Bina. Love it!
