Terrific Takeout: Maharaja Palace

Baghare Jinga was the appetizer we tried which was quite spicy and the lettuce and purple cabbage nicely balanced that out.  The shrimp sauteed with mustard seeds, red chilis and coconut and curry leaves were in a convincing curry sauce.  It had a terrific kick and we're glad we took the spicy risk!
Green salad consisted of thinly sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and carrots and lovely strips of green pepper resting on a bed of lettuce. Just beautiful and of course part of a great diet, a green salad is a lovely addition to every meal.  It is exactly as you'd expect.
Murg Pasanda was the main course: seasoned breast of chicken pan-grilled in a mildly spiced sauce flavored with ground fennel and star anise.   The sauce was so smooth and rich and the chicken was complimented by it wonderfully.
Maharaja Palace is Terrific Takeout!
