Whom You Know Continues Coverage of Sacha London with Ebony in Black, Recommended by Whom You Know!

Recently, we kicked off coverage of Sacha London:
The sophomore pair in our lineup is the Ebony, and it has more of an artistic line going for it rather than a classic line.  If the Hope was The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Ebony is the Moma.  And by Thursday afternoon, we know you are bored at your day job and want to escape and read about a fantastic new pair of shoes!  They have a sensible heel suitable for a lovely soiree and we like the lift they give you in the front of the foot as well.   Four times a year, more often than any other trade show for any other discipline, Peachy Deegan goes to the shoe fair.  We love it when we see old familiar faces and if Peachy wasn't on such a mission to identify excellence she'd probably wind up talking to them the entire time.  New faces and new brands have to prove themselves so you can consider it pretty notable when we're covering a new one.  We look high and low for the best and if you know Peachy, you know she is picky and does a lot of due diligence.  One of the most exciting new stories to hit the press is the re-emergence of Sacha London with Marc Benchimol at the helm of the shoe ship
.    We understand the line is designed in Spain however, it is not made there like the fantastic Paul Mayer flats are, or in the USA, or in Europe and we hope that they will change the location of their manufacturing base.  However, as far as shoes made in Asia go, these are among the better ones we've seen that come from that part of the world.

We'll have to find out if these cool Canadians like to talk to Peachy about hockey as much as Penelope and Pierre...in the meantime, you ought to pick up a pair or two and like their USA and Canadian facebook page:

Sacha London, the veteran shoe brand designed in Spain and distributed across Europe, Canada and the United States, has recently relaunched its line of shoes in the US.

Old and new fans of the line appreciate its great styling, fit, comfort, and pricing. Loyal followers have emailed over recent months about how they love their “vintage Sachas” and many who’ve never worn the brand frequently email asking where they can find a particular style.

Sacha London has been in and out of the US market over the last decade. With new leadership from director Marc Benchimol, the brand opened an office in New York City in 2008 and has steadily been gaining market share ever since. The line is designed in Spain and while it maintains that European flair, it also caters to the tastes and needs of the American woman. The shoes retail between $100 and $300 and can be found in stores across the US and through several online retailers. While the brand regularly appears in the Canadian fashion magazine LouLou, it is only now beginning to pitch itself into the US media world and it is hoped that with increased visibility, its growth will continue. Management has many new projects for Sacha London in the near future.

About Sacha London
In 1968, Sacha London opened its first store in London, followed by numerous locales in malls and further international expansion. Originality was the premise of the brand. Quality of workmanship was fundamental. In 1988, the firm became 100% Spanish owned and the Spanish design element was integrated.

In 2009, Sacha London took another big step and opened a new factory in Elda. By merging the experience that comes from years of artisanal footwear making with the latest in footwear production technology, Sacha London is ready for the future!
