Whom You Know began in 2009 and early in that year, we worked with Sal. We're still working with Sal, and that should speak volumes.  Patsy's has been a culinary institution since 1944, and their menu accurately says on the front "There are the Restaurants you go to And the Restaurants you go back to."  As an appetizer, we tried the amazing Asparagus Wrap, which we believe to be a pretty healthy choice.  It's an ideal start: sauteed asparagus and a cheese mixture of mozzarella, ricotta and Parmigiano-Reggiono - wrapped with prosciutto and served with fresh tomatoes and a Marinara sauce is pure quality.
Because the menu is so superb at Patsy's, you will not be able to pick just one appetizer.  This stuffed artichoke is every bite as delicious as it looks!
It's stuffed with breadcrumbs, garlic, gaeta olives, capers and anchovy and the combination proves to boast tremendous texture and flavor that brings out the natural goodness of the artichoke.
Trying to narrow down your pasta choices at Patsy's is like trying to narrow down your Paul Mayer Attitudes shoe choices at Bloomingdale's.  You want to eat them all, but alas you only have one stomach (and you want to wear them all, but you only have two feet.)  All this means is you go to Patsy's and Bloomingdale's for more than one trip, and we mean many more.  Our last Patsy's takeout review we tried a healthier pasta, but this time we threw all caution to the wind.  When we wake up in heaven we hope we wake up in a big pile of Fettuccine Alfredo from Patsy's!  The fresh homemade egg noodles are served with a decadent sauce of butter, cream, and Parmigiano-Reggiano that will leave you speechless.  And did we mention that Frank Sinatra always said Patsy's is his favorite restaurant.  Now Rihanna goes there, click here to see.  She likes the baked clams, fried calamari and pasta but do hold the lemon.
We are huge advocates of eating a green salad at every meal.  The chopped salad at Patsy's is tremendous with iceberg, arugula, pimientos, tomato and anchovy.  If you think you do not like anchovies you have not tried them at Patsy's!  They are just amazing and add a perfect kick to the vegetables here.  The color of nutrition is just beautiful and delicious too we might add.  Did you know Sal has lost 45 pounds!  Congratulations to Sal.  Also, if you like fish ask Sal about his cool aquarium.
Finally, our entree was the most spectacular of all (along with the Napoleon!).  If you have not had the Veal Rollatine Marsala, which totally is enhanced by the amazing rosemary, you have not lived.  Stuffed with succulent mozzarella, Parmigiano-Reggiano and prosciutto, this veal is simply smashing in a sauce of marsala and mushrooms.  Every bite was delightful decadence and you'll be counting down the days until you try it again.
Here comes trouble.
Good trouble!
Dessert is not required on any of our reviews, however, 99.999% of owners usually want us to try it, so how can we say no?  First please meet the Cassata.  Toasted almonds, cannoli cream, sponge cake!  Dangerously fantastic.
Yes, we like chocolate.    The best incarnation of chocolate we've seen recently is from Patsy's in their uber-chocolate cake: Chocolate Mousse!  Chocoholics, rejoice.
Of all of these sweet dreams, the sweetest by far is the Napoleon, which originally is a french dessert but at Patsy's is of course Italian.  Named after the Emperor, this Napoleon is absolutely out of control and if you are anything like us, you will wake up at night and raid your refrigerator for a bite and then go back to bed.  You really cannot eat the whole thing after dinner, or maybe you can.  It's that superior.  The layers of Millefoglia are talented but what we found we adored most was the layers of creamy goodness.
Rosa, Sal and Joseph

Yes we love it here!
