Imagine you have never heard of Peachy Deegan. You come across #WhomYouKnow and wonder why the phrase begins with a waffle iron. 'Whom you know' is vaguely familiar but awkward, just a little strange to the ear. Is it meant to be a joke? A New York hipster making fun of the great unwashed? Well, yes. But with gentility and humor…correcting a longstanding grammatical wrong…like a good friend advising you on which utensil to use for the fish course.
I met Peachy Deegan in the Twittersphere. I’m not even sure how. One thing led to another and the next thing I knew Peachy was interviewing me for her online journal, www.WhomYouKnow.com. In an hour or so of my time, Peachy found out more about me and my work as an academic radiologist and author of creative non-fiction than anyone else had ever managed to extract.
www.WhomYouKnow.com has become a regular stop for me in my unceasing quest to remain knowledgeable about what’s cool for a brief drive-by to hone my hip or, when time allows, for an extended stay.
Take a brief self-guided tour of www.WhomYouKnow.com. You’ll be hooked."
