We have always loved Uncle Paul's Pizza because we have always loved Uncle Paul from the minute we met him! Uncle Paul's Pizza was last featured two years ago in the summer of 2023.

It's not who you know and it never has been. It's WHOM YOU KNOW and we absolutely love our friend Paul Nicaj and have adored him since before we ever ate a slice of pizza here because we went to Battery Gardens first, starting in 2013. Uncle Paul's Pizza began as a Peachy's Pick in 2014.
The salads are among their greatest strengths, and Uncle Paul's Salad is shown above: crispy bacon, roasted peppers, red onion, fresh mozzarella, grilled mushrooms and we chose to add chicken make this a wonder of nutrition to behold! They listened and put the dressing on the side. All items of each of the three salads we tried were fresh and commendable. The Caesar Salad, which we chose to have dressed, was a solid performance boasting Romaine Lettuce and Herb Croutons with classic Caesar dressing. Grilled Shrimp, our choice, came to the party and really stepped it up.
Our favorite salad was the fruit salad! It was the freshest and best one we have had all summer with the cantaloupe being particularly outstanding and as always, pictures are totally unedited. The truth is that your fruit salad will look just as vivid and inviting:
From the mint to the melon and the cherries on top, the Fruit Salad was a triumph.

Under extras, do not miss the superb Sauteed Spinach which is really an excellent highlight that elegantly announces less is more with fresh nutrition, cut well and presented with cherry tomatoes.
The real star of the show here is the pizza, of course and as always, we show the large 18 inch. Special Pizza Pies are typically 10 inches here, but they made it 18 for us: we chose the Goat Cheese Pizza with Caramelized Onions, Wild Mushrooms and Truffle Oil. An elevated taste combination, we put our own spin on it with garlic (Peachy loves garlic), cherry tomatoes and spinach culminating in a culinary home run! The quality of this pizza cannot be overemphasized and you see it is a consistent hit in our Best of Peachy's Picks list every time since they originally debuted on it in 2014. A lot of pizza places have come and gone in that time but Uncle Paul's is a true winner.

A sleeper hit is the Vegetable Stromboli. Peachy cannot ever remember having a Vegetable Stromboli this magnificent anywhere before, and of everything she tried, it ties with the fruit salad for our favorite edible of the visit. Spinach, broccoli, peppers, onions, tomato, mushrooms, olives and of course Peachy's most favorite vegetable, mozzarella, teamed up to show you that you can eat delicious dinners and still look amazing in your summer bikini. As you see during this whole review we ordered on the lighter side so you can see how you can have it all in life: great nutrition, delicious dinners and the ability to be able to fit into your cocktail dress at the end of the day!

Zelka tells us that the Pasta Primavera is a sensation right now and it's her favorite. It was a strong performer with spaghetti, green zucchini, yellow squash, tomato, mushrooms, spinach, red bell pepper and parmesan, all festively putting happiness into your summer. Gnocchi al Pesto is something you won't find at many pizza places: homemade potato dumplings revel with garlic, basil, pine nuts, parmesan and olive oil: we chose to add chicken for protein.
