#GothamGadgets #GermanyPeachy Jack Huynh showed how Personal AI is transforming the relationship between people and technology and opens new possibilities

IFA Berlin, the world’s largest event for Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances and Future Tech, opened the first official day of IFA 2026 with AMD’s Opening Keynote, spotlighting the growing importance of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing for the consumer technology market. On the Innovation Stage, Jack Huynh, Senior Vice President and General Manager of AMD's Computing and Graphics Group, showed how Personal AI is transforming the relationship between people and technology and opening new opportunities in everyday life and the workplace. Huynh offered insights into the next era of computing, in which artificial intelligence is becoming more personal and proactive.

“Jack Huynh illustrated how artificial intelligence is now shaping the entire technology market. AI is making technology more personal, more intuitive, and an increasingly natural part of our everyday lives. The keynote compellingly demonstrated the additional potential unlocked when powerful hardware and intelligent applications work together,” says Leif Lindner, CEO of IFA Management GmbH.

AI expands human potential

In the IFA Opening Keynote, Jack Huynh explained that computers will not only become more powerful but will also understand people better: what they are doing, what they want to achieve and what matters at that particular moment. They will be able to work alongside people, adapt to their needs, and help turn an intention into a tangible outcome.

Using examples from research, healthcare, and mobility, Huynh demonstrated the potential of AI technology. In science, it is already helping to advance cancer research, develop new energy concepts, and accelerate discoveries. Much like electricity, AI is beginning to become a natural part of everyday life.

AI is also opening up new possibilities in the workplace: it reduces repetitive tasks and facilitates collaboration across different areas of a business. Its purpose is to complement human creativity, judgement and expertise. Open infrastructures and consistent software make it possible to develop and test AI applications securely and deploy them across an organisation. “It was an honor to open IFA and share my vision for the Era of Personal AI and the future of imagination. We are entering a new era of computing, where AI will change not only how we use technology, but what we can imagine, create, and accomplish with it. That is what excites me most about this moment. Personal AI has the potential to make technology more intuitive, more capable, and more human, giving each of us new ways to turn our ideas into reality. We are only at the beginning of this journey, and I believe the greatest breakthroughs will come when technology expands not only what we can do, but what we dare to imagine,” says Jack Huynh, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Computing and Graphics Group at AMD.

The unique collaboration with FC Bayern is part of the NHL’s long-term international growth strategy in Germany.

Unveiled today at Säbener Straße, FC Bayern’s world-class training facility, with German NHL stars Leon Draisaitl and JJ Peterka, and FC Bayern champion Alphonso Davies, the partnership includes creating a platform for cross-sport collaboration, community engagement, youth outreach and original content development. Through a series of initiatives, the NHL and FC Bayern will work together to introduce hockey to new audiences in Germany while creating distinctive experiences for fans of both organizations.

“Germany continues to be one of the NHL’s most important international growth markets, and FC Bayern is among the most recognizable and respected sports brands in the world,” said Keith Wachtel, President, NHL Business. “By combining the NHL's passion for hockey with FC Bayern's extraordinary reach and connection to fans, we have a tremendous strategic opportunity to introduce more people to our game, deepen engagement with existing fans and create unique experiences.”

By developing ideas together with one of the most tradition-steeped leagues in world sport, the connection of our respective regions will create unique synergies on a wide variety of levels, in sports and beyond. We are creating a platform that promises long-term value for both partners and sets a new benchmark in terms of what cross-sport collaborations can achieve,” commented FC Bayern Board Member and CMO, Rouven Kasper.

As part of the agreement, the NHL and FC Bayern will collaborate on a range of fan-focused initiatives, including digital and social media campaigns, co-branded content and merchandise opportunities, street hockey events in Munich, watch parties, matchday activations at Allianz Arena, youth programming, hospitality experiences, and business networking events. The partners will also work together on player appearances, experiential activations, cross-promotional campaigns, and other community engagement and storytelling initiatives designed to create memorable experiences for hockey and football fans alike.

Earlier today, the NHL announced it will be bringing more NHL regular season games to Germany in the 2027-28 regular season as part of the 2027 NHL Global Series Germany. #NHLPeachy #GermanyPeachy NHL and NHLPA Announce First-Ever NHL Regular Season Games in Munich and Cologne as Part of 2027 NHL Global Series Games in Germany

Boston Bruins to Play Two Regular Season Games in Munich; Edmonton Oilers to Play Two Regular Season Games in Cologne

The National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and National Hockey League (NHL) today announced that for the first-time ever, Munich and Cologne will host NHL regular season games during the 2027-28 NHL season. The 2027 NHL Global Series Germany will feature the Boston Bruins playing two games in JJ Peterka’s home city of Munich at SAP Garden. Also, as part of the 2027 NHL Global Series Germany, the Edmonton Oilers will play two games in Leon Draisaitl’s native city of Cologne at Lanxess Arena.

Today’s announcement furthers the NHL’s and NHLPA’s long-term international growth strategy in Germany, which includes strategic investment in growing the game through grassroots activations, content and other fan engagement initiatives, and forging new, long-term business partnerships. The NHL and NHLPA’s plans, as demonstrated today, include bringing more live, regular season games to Germany. More details including ticketing and opponents will be announced during the 2026-27 regular season.

“There is no better way to experience the speed, skill and excitement of NHL hockey than live and in person. The National Hockey League is thrilled to bring our first-ever regular season games to the passionate fans in Munich and Cologne,” said Bill Daly, NHL Deputy Commissioner. “These events represent an important step in our commitment to grow the game in Germany. By bringing more NHL games to one of Europe’s most dynamic hockey markets, we hope to continue to deepen engagement amongst our fans, partners and local communities, while at the same time creating a significant opportunity to grow the game throughout the country.”

“The NHL Global Series games in 2027 bring two of the NHL’s best players in Leon Draisaitl and JJ Peterka back to play in front of their hometown fans,” said Marty Walsh, NHLPA Executive Director. “Germany has a proud hockey tradition, and these NHL Global Series games are part of the League and NHLPA’s ongoing commitment to build meaningful connections between NHL players and the German marketplace.”

The upcoming 2027 NHL Global Series Germany games in Munich and Cologne represent another key milestone in the League’s expanding global footprint. The games will mark the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh NHL Regular-Season games played in Germany, with the first dating back to Oct. 8, 2011, when the Buffalo Sabres faced the Los Angeles Kings at O2 World in Berlin. The NHL and NHLPA will bring NHL Regular Season games to Germany for at least the next three seasons, starting with this year’s 2026 NHL Global Series Germany on December 18 and 20, 2026 at PSD Bank Dome, featuring the Ottawa Senators and Chicago Blackhawks. A complete history of NHL Regular-Season games played outside North America can be found here.

The 2027 NHL Global Series Germany games will also showcase the strength of German-developed NHL talent, led by native stars who continue to elevate the country’s hockey presence on the global stage. Edmonton Oilers’ forward and Cologne native Leon Draisaitl is the highest-scoring German player in NHL history, with more than double the points of the next highest scorer, and has earned multiple League awards since being drafted third overall in 2014. In 2025-26, Draisaitl became the first German player to record 1,000 career NHL points and captained the country to its best finish at an Olympic tournament that featured NHL participation (6th place) – topping Team Germany with seven points in five games. Draisaitl and NHLPA Goals & Dreams have partnered to donate 58 complete sets of hockey equipment to Kölner Haie youth teams.

Boston Bruins’ forward and Munich native JJ Peterka has topped the 20-goal mark in three of his four full NHL seasons, including a 25-goal performance for the Utah Mammoth in 2025-26 (25-22—47 in 82 GP). A second-round draft pick (34th overall) by the Buffalo Sabres in 2020, Peterka has already skated in 320 career NHL games at the age of 24, for the Sabres and Mammoth, scoring 92 goals and adding 105 assists for 197 points – already among the top 10 German scorers in NHL history. He joined Draisaitl on the 2026 German Olympic Team at Milano/Cortina, contributing one goal and three assists in five games.

The NHL continues to demonstrate its commitment to the long-term growth of hockey in Germany through grassroots programs and community engagement initiatives. Central to these efforts is the expansion of NHL Street Hockey in regions such as North Rhine-Westphalia, helping create a lasting legacy and broaden access to the sport in communities hosting NHL games, alongside initiatives such as Hockey Day in Germany and the NHL Global Fan Tour. Looking ahead, the League will expand its school-based initiatives, youth development programs and fan engagement activities, strengthening participation and helping foster a new generation of players, families and fans throughout the country.

#GothamGadgets #GermanyPeachy From beauty tech and creator culture to domestic robotics and family experiences, right through to new business models for the circular economy: IFA Moments bring innovation at IFA 2026 to life.

Touch, try out, get involved: IFA 2026 is placing greater emphasis on formats that allow visitors not only to see innovation, but to experience it for themselves. IFA Moments curates the most exciting experiences at IFA. This year’s programme includes, amongst other things, IFA Live experiences with humanoid robots, sessions on smart homes and the circular economy, the IFA Pitch Battles and the Creator Hub.

Two highlights in particular exemplify IFA’s experiential nature: in 2026, the Beauty Hub will become a significantly larger interactive Beauty Lab, whilst the IFA Playbox will create, for the first time, a dedicated experience zone for families with children up to the age of twelve. With both formats, IFA makes it clear that the future of consumer technology extends far beyond the individual device. Technology is becoming more personal, more interactive and more deeply integrated into everyday life.

“Innovation has the greatest impact when people can experience it for themselves. IFA is the place where products, games and concerts can be experienced first-hand. With the Beauty Hub, we’re showing just how personal technology has become. With the Playbox, we’re creating, for the first time, a dedicated space where families can discover technology together and have fun. This makes IFA even more of an experience for a wide range of interests and generations,” says Leif Lindner, CEO of IFA Management GmbH.

Beauty Tech & Wellbeing: The Show Area is being transformed into a Beauty Lab

Beauty and wellbeing are evolving into a dynamic field of technology. Artificial intelligence is increasingly enabling personalised applications, wearables are providing ever more detailed data, and digital platforms are bringing together training, prevention, recovery and wellbeing.

The Beauty Tech & Wellbeing Show Area showcases this development at IFA. The spectrum ranges from healthcare products and wearables, through digital fitness solutions and smart apparel, to recovery and wellness applications. The focus is on how technology can help people live healthier lives, better understand their performance and improve their personal wellbeing in the long term.

A highlight within the Show Area is the IFA Beauty Hub. It is designed as a Beauty Lab: a place to try things out, discover and exchange ideas.

This year, the Beauty Hub is moving to Hall 13, enabling IFA to significantly expand its exhibition space. The large hall provides space for interactive product stations, beauty treatments and services, styling sessions, a lounge, and influencer and creator activations. From product testing to on-site applications, visitors can experience beauty tech first-hand.

From LED face masks to digital tattoos

The Beauty Hub’s programme brings together different facets of beauty tech and personal care. The focus is on hands-on experiences. Each brand offers treatments, demonstrations or product experiences. Visitors can try out treatments and products, discovering for themselves what beauty technology feels like.

Nuon Medical invites visitors to try out skincare devices for themselves. At Prinker, temporary digital tattoos become a live experience – with the Tattoo Kiosk, Prinker POP and interactive activities.

TYMO is planning live hair styling sessions for visitors. Dreame will also be represented at the Beauty Hub. The company is showcasing haircare products – from hairdryers to styling tools – as well as the new Chrona Ultra LED face mask.

StylPro is offering ten-minute LED face mask sessions, daily prize draws and is unveiling three new products at IFA. Womanizer is combining an exclusive preview of a previously unreleased product with a competition, goodies and giveaways.

Connected Health is also part of the Hub: Withings is showcasing BodyFit and BodyScan 2. BodyFit is set to launch in retail on 7 September, whilst IFA is underway. The company is also demonstrating new features for its BeamO multi-scan thermometer.

A lounge featuring Anker charging stations and Hitschies sweets creates additional space for visitors, creators and brands to meet.

In doing so, the Beauty Hub is tapping into a fundamental trend: beauty, fitness and health are increasingly converging with data, artificial intelligence and connected technologies. Individual products are evolving into personalised ecosystems that support people in their everyday lives – from training and skincare to recovery and prevention.

IFA Playbox: a new world of experiences for families

Whilst visitors are trying things out, getting styled and testing products in the Beauty Hub, the IFA is creating its own dedicated space for its youngest visitors for the first time elsewhere on the site. With the IFA Playbox, IFA 2026 is launching its own experience area for families with children up to the age of twelve. The Playbox is deliberately not designed as a childcare facility. The focus here is on playing together, discovering, being active and taking creative breaks from the hustle and bustle of the trade fair.

Super RTL is bringing gaming content to the IFA Playbox via TOGGO GG. The programme is complemented by games and activity options: Stapelstein is providing several of its play sets for active play, and Hitschies is stocking its own candy bar with sweets. In addition, Juki & Danyal from Toggo will be on hand at the IFA Playbox for an autograph session.

A special family event is planned for 6 September: KIDDINX is bringing Bibi and Tina to the IFA as walking acts. The two inseparable friends are the main characters of the well-known children’s and family brand ‘Bibi & Tina’ and, together with their horses Sabrina and Amadeus, embark on adventures centred around Martinshof, friendship and horses. Families can also look forward to Bibi & Tina merchandise, friendship bracelets, T-shirts and colouring activities.

The Playbox thus adds a new dimension to the technology on offer at IFA: it creates a shared space for families where digital entertainment, well-known characters, physical activity and creative play come together.

IFA Moments bring innovation from the exhibition halls into everyday life

Beauty Hub and Playbox are two particularly prominent examples of the IFA Moments 2026. Other IFA Moments this year include:

The IFA Creator Hub brings together content creation, media, brands and networking. Spread across two floors and an outdoor area, the space will feature, amongst other things, a Creator Stage, the IFA Streaming Studio, streaming stations, brand activations and a Creator Lounge.

At ‘Robots on the Runway’, humanoid robots take centre stage and walk the catwalk. Complementing this, the session ‘Robots in the Kitchen and Home: From Task-Specific Tools to Humanoids’ explores how robotic systems can support people in the future with cooking, cleaning or living independently in old age.

The session ‘How Air, Connectivity and Intelligence Bridge the Last Mile of Home Wellness’ explores how sensor technology, connectivity and artificial intelligence can evolve the smart home from mere automation into an environment that actively supports comfort and well-being.

At the IFA Pitch Battle, start-ups present their ideas on the Dream Stage to a panel of expert judges and a live audience.

And under the heading ‘Turning e-waste into value’, the industry will discuss how repair, refurbishment and new after-sales models can create additional value beyond the initial sale of a product.

Finally, with “What the Funk”, one of Berlin’s most famous landmarks itself becomes an IFA Moment: to mark the 100th anniversary of the Radio Tower, the IFA brings together the history of technology, Berlin culture and a glimpse into the future. During the trade fair, the Radio Tower will be illuminated in the IFA colours.

#NHLPeachy @NHL NHL & NHLPA Announce Long-Term International Growth Strategy in Germany

Includes 2026 NHL Global Series Germany Featuring Ottawa Senators-Chicago Blackhawks in Düsseldorf, Dec. 18 and Dec. 20

The National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and National Hockey League (NHL) today announced details of their joint long-term international growth strategy to deepen the NHL and NHL players’ established and future presence in Germany. Key components of the plan include strategic investment in growing the game through grassroots, content and other fan engagement initiatives across Germany, forging new, long-term business partnerships and making a commitment to bringing more NHL Regular Season games to Germany, beginning with the 2026 NHL Global Series Germany, a pair of games between the Ottawa Senators and Chicago Blackhawks at PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf on December 18 and December 20, 2026.

Today’s announcement was made at a news conference in Düsseldorf featuring NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly, NHLPA Sr. Director of International Strategy & Growth and former German national player Rob Zepp, President of NHL Business Keith Wachtel and Mayor of Düsseldorf Dr. Stephan Keller, among others.

The upcoming games between Chicago and Ottawa represent a significant milestone in the League’s expanding global footprint. The games will mark the second and third ever NHL Regular-Season games played in Germany, with the first dating back to Oct. 8, 2011, when the Buffalo Sabres faced the Los Angeles Kings at O2 World in Berlin. The NHL and NHLPA are making a commitment to bring NHL Regular Season games to Germany for at least the next three (3) seasons. December’s games in Düsseldorf will be the 13th season overall, and fifth consecutive season, in which the League will stage NHL Regular Season matchups in Europe, a key component of its strategy to advance the sport globally and to build deeper connections with fans worldwide. A complete history of NHL Regular-Season games played outside North America can be found here.

The December games will also showcase the strength of German developed NHL talent, led by native stars who continue to elevate the country’s hockey presence on the global stage. The Senators’ leading point and goal scorer is Viersen native Tim Stützle, who has totaled 30-40-70 in 64 games in 2025-26.

“I think German hockey has been growing a lot, and there are a lot of great players from there,” said Stützle. “Now that they [the NHL] have been committing to playing games there and supporting kids as well. It’s huge. Hopefully it gets even more people to play hockey in Germany. It’s really exciting news.”

Beyond Stützle, Edmonton Oilers’ forward Leon Draisaitl – one of the most decorated German athletes in NHL history – has surpassed 1,000 career points and has earned multiple League awards since being drafted third (3rd) overall in 2014. He also recently captained Team Germany to its best finish at an Olympic tournament that featured NHL participation (6th place). Draisaitl and NHLPA Goals & Dreams have partnered to donate 58 complete sets of hockey equipment to Kölner Haie youth teams.

Detroit’s Moritz Seider, the 2022 Calder Memorial Trophy winner, is the leader of the next generation of elite German defensemen. Together, Draisaitl, Stützle and Seider rank first, fourth and eighth, all-time, respectively, among German NHLers in scoring, demonstrating the country’s growing success in elite player development, as well as its growing impact on the NHL.

The League’s investment in Germany is intended to reach well beyond the ice. This weekend marks the debut of Hockey Day in Germany, the first program of its kind in the country. The March 13-14 celebration will engage new and existing fans through a series of hockey-centric activities, including interactive experiences at the NHL Global Fan Tour, an appearance by the Stanley Cup, e‑gaming competitions and a live viewing event for the NHL Saturday presented by Fastenal broadcast featuring the Anaheim Ducks and Ottawa Senators. Germany will become the third of four total markets that will have hosted an NHL Hockey Day event this season, following recent events in Sweden and Czechia, and a Hockey Day in Finland event scheduled for March 27-28.

Complementing its major events strategy, the NHL will continue supporting long‑term hockey development and participation throughout Europe through grassroots programs and community engagement efforts, such as NHL Street Hockey. This school-based initiative will be delivered through a series of structured lessons and will be organized and executed collectively with local clubs, along with Germany’s Member National Association (DEB in GER) to ensure interested students have a clear pathway into additional entry-level hockey programs in their cities. By the end of the 2025-26 season, NHL Street Hockey will be operating in seven (7) countries outside of North America, including Finland, Sweden, Czechia, Australia, the UK, China and Germany, with an estimated 30,000+ students participating across these markets throughout the season. The program emphasizes the development of soft skills, promotes healthy and active lifestyles, and demonstrates the League’s long‑term commitment to nurturing the next generation of players and fans in key international markets.

With the NHL opening its first European office in Zurich last summer, the success of global properties like the 4 Nations Face-Off and the upcoming World Cup of Hockey 2028 as well as the League’s expanding number of media rights deals with partners around the world, the NHL is poised to continue the momentum it has been building in growing the game of hockey globally.

“Our deepened commitment to Germany as an important hockey country marks a critical next chapter for the NHL. By further investing in one of Europe’s most dynamic sports markets – both through the execution of major events and the development and implementation of grassroots initiatives – we intend to strengthen our presence and build stronger connections with German fans, partners and local communities. In prioritizing our efforts here, we hope to accelerate hockey’s growth across the region, creating meaningful impact from the ground up.”

Bill Daly, NHL Deputy Commissioner

“Having previously played in Germany and now getting to return in my current role is a full circle moment for me. We have strategic plans to grow and build upon the existing hockey ecosystem through grassroots initiatives, creative collaborations, business opportunities and building stronger relationships between NHL players and German fans. Ultimately, this work will help further the game of hockey in Germany.”

Rob Zepp, NHLPA Sr. Director of International Strategy & Growth

“Germany is a wonderful country with an avid, sophisticated hockey audience that is eager to engage with the NHL. As one of our priority markets moving forward, Germany offers a myriad of opportunities to grow the sport of hockey at every level. Keith Wachtel, President of NHL Business

“The announcement of the 2026 NHL Global Series Germany is the next milestone for Düsseldorf as a hockey location. Following the international ice hockey game in May 2025 and the Deutschland Cup in November 2026, as well as the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship 2027 and NHL Hockey Day in Germany this weekend, this is the next highlight. We look forward to welcoming the top stars from North America to the PSD BANK DOME and to welcoming numerous fans, whom we, together with the NHL, are sure to provide with unforgettable moments."

Dr. Stephan Keller, Mayor of the state capital Düsseldorf

Events like the Hockey Days or the Global Series Games have tremendous impact and visibility. We are fully committed to strengthening this partnership going forward, from high-profile events to community programs and development opportunities for young players. Our shared ambition is to inspire fans across the country and ensure that hockey in Germany continues to flourish.”

NHL und NHLPA geben langfristige internationale Wachstumsstrategie in Deutschland bekannt

Dazu gehört die NHL Global Series Germany 2026 mit den Senators und Blackhawks am 18. und 20. Dezember in Düsseldorf

#ReadThis #GermanyPeachy @QuartoBooksUS #MERCEDES-AMG:RACE-BREDPERFORMANCE by #MattDeLorenzo

Author Matt DeLorenzo has uncovered the brilliant, storied history of Mercedes AMG inbetween these pages with great depth and diligence and we highly recommend this superstar compliation that makes you go vroom even if you are sitting still in your armchair.  The Cruising Peachy panelists have been hard at work reading this beauty cover to cover and the gorgeous photography and well-placed visuals including engine drawings detail the careful verbiage that tells a spectacular story.  The completely comprehensive history boasts stunning photography that supports meticulous research and enhances it greatly.

All Mercedes are not the same: some are just superior.
Namely, the racing AMG versions!
From the Red Pig to the Red AMG Hammer you will meet each edition with vigor!

We highly commend the kickoff of this great work with honoring John Fitch by Sam Posey, both of whom we laud with high honors!  You might even know some of us here.

This book is so intelligently written and educates both the casual enthusiast and the die-hard equally.  The worldwide presence of Mercedes AMG is showcased including Europe and South America and of course the greatest outside Daytona, Lime Rock Park.  You'll see that "collabs" are not such a new phenomenon and it's not some invention of the influencer of the month that will come and go: collabs have been happening for ages!  Check out the McLaren/AMG one, among others.  Make sure you read this book in its entirely and just don't flip through the pages because you want to get to AMG ONE, which might be Peachy's favorite.

For everyone that reads us that also has a pretty good command of French like Peachy, note some parts of the book you see in three languages: German, English and French which is pretty neat.  We also like how auto shows and their evolution are covered around the world including Los Angeles, Paris and Geneva (check out our New York coverage this year here; obviously Corvette Racing is our favorite.)

Start your holiday shopping early...this is a great gift for anyone that likes racing or things that go!

Arriving November 4th and perfectly timed for the holidays, MERCEDES-AMG: RACE-BRED PERFORMANCE, by Matt DeLorenzo, is the must-have history of the high performance arm of Mercedes-Benz.

For decades, Mercedes-Benz was synonymous with luxury and refinement. But beneath the polished chrome and leather interiors lurked a racing spirit—one that Hans Werner Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher unleashed in 1967 when they founded AMG. MERCEDES-AMG: RACE-BRED PERFORMANCE tells the full-throttle story of how these two engineers transformed a staid sedan into the legendary Red Pig racer, launching one of Germany’s most iconic performance brands

From dominating endurance circuits to building street-legal beasts like the AMG Hammer, DeLorenzo, traces AMG’s evolution from independent tuner to official Mercedes-Benz partner, and ultimately, to a fully integrated performance division. Along the way, it showcases the cars that defined eras—from the brutal Black Series to today’s electrified hypercars. Insinde this hardcover, 224-page tome you'll find: Rare photos and behind-the-scenes insights

Motorbooks History

It’s only fitting that our story begins in a garage.

The year was 1965, and North America was in dire need of quality car, motorcycle, and racing books. Luckily for gearheads, a transplanted Englishman and lifelong car guy named Thomas Warth took it upon himself to feed the need. From the stalls of his humble Minneapolis, Minnesota, garage, Warth launched a modest automotive book mail-order business selling transportation tomes, many of them imported from England. Thus was born Classic Motorbooks.

In 1973, Classic Motorbooks began publishing its own books, which it made available alongside those from leading transportation publishers around the world. This move put Motorbooks in the driver’s seat, allowing it to define the best books for enthusiasts and then engage the motoring world’s best photographers and writers to create them—an approach that continues to this day.

Besides our award-winning writers and shooters, we also partner with some of the biggest names in the business, like Harley-Davidson, Chevrolet, Ford, Hot Rod and Cycle World magazines, Dodge, and SRT—all to give us access to the best stories and the coolest photography. Alongside its own titles, Motorbooks continues to offer the best books from the other premier transportation publishers, fine-tuned exclusively for the enthusiast by gearheads who are just as obsessed as you are.

Motorbooks has embraced the gearhead life. If it has wheels, we dig it. Wrench, Race, Ride, Roll, Read: that’s our mantra. Now go burn some rubber.
