ABOUT TRACE ADKINS:
Over the course of his three-decade reign in Country music, MULTI-PLATINUM hitmaker Trace Adkins has emerged as a full-fledged icon whose reach spans far beyond the genre's borders. A multi-award-winning singer and actor who's scored 40 hit singles on Country radio and sold 12 MILLION albums to date, the Louisiana native is now nearing the 30th anniversary of his trailblazing full-length debut Dreamin' Out Loud - a 1996 LP that delivered his No. 1 "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing" and "Every Light In The House" (a Top 5 entry on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart). Currently out on the Trace Adkins 30th Anniversary Tour (a U.S. headline run which launched in January), the superstar entertainer recently followed his featured spot on Blake Shelton's Friends & Heroes Tour with his own What Color's Your Wild Tour (a hot-ticket headline trek named for his hard-driving anthem released in early 2025). For the latest entry in a celebrated filmography including acclaimed movies like Deepwater Horizon and a recurring role on the blockbuster sitcom King of the Hill, Adkins has reprised his role as MercyMe manager Scott Brickell in I Can Only Imagine 2 (released February 2026) after appearing as Big Buck in Day of Reckoning (a 2025 action film that featured his rousing revenge ballad "That Someday" in its closing credits). Also a devoted philanthropist with a deep-rooted passion for giving back to the military community, he's helped raise millions of dollars to support injured post-9/11 veterans as part of his work with the Wounded Warrior Project and received a multitude of honors for his humanitarian work, including the National Defense Industrial Association's Dwight D. Eisenhower Award. A true American legend whose powerhouse catalog includes 14 studio albums, Adkins continues to embody the fiery spirit of traditional Country while moving the genre forward with his ever-evolving sound.

#PatrioticPeachy #MemorialDay USAA Remembers and Honors America’s Fallen Service Members with the Return of the Poppy Wall of Honor to the National Mall

600,000 poppies displayed in a powerful tribute to the true meaning of Memorial Day
USAA's Poppy Wall of Honor® on the National Mall in May 2025. The Poppy Wall of Honor is filled with more than 600,000 VFW "Buddy Poppies" and American Legion Memorial Poppies - both assembled by veteran volunteers. This year marks the seventh year that USAA has installed the temporary exhibit on the National Mall to honor and remember the service members who gave their lives in service to our country since World War I.

This Memorial Day weekend, USAA’s Poppy Wall of Honor will return to the National Mall in Washington, D.C. for the seventh year. The temporary exhibit features more than 600,000 poppies, each representing the military members lost in service to our country since World War I. In a time where less than half of US adults understand the significance of the holiday1, the Poppy Wall serves as a visual tribute that honors those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms, while educating visitors on the purpose of Memorial Day.

“The Poppy Wall of Honor stands as a powerful reminder that behind every poppy is a service member who gave their life in service to our country – and a family forever changed by that sacrifice,” said Juan C. Andrade, President & CEO of USAA. “Memorial Day is a time to pause, reflect and honor those who never came home. We share a responsibility to remember their service and the freedoms they helped protect.”

In addition to USAA’s Poppy Wall of Honor, USAA will be sponsoring an Honor Flight from Denver to Washington, D.C. with the Honor Flight of Southern Colorado, where over 50 veterans from the Vietnam and Korean Wars will get to experience the Poppy Wall and the many monuments across our nation’s capital. For many of these heroes, this will be their first time visiting the monuments constructed in honor of their unwavering service.

Inspired by “In Flanders Fields,” a World War I poem by John McCrae, the poppy became a universal symbol of remembrance, after it was brought forward by Moina Michael, an American professor and volunteer for the American YWCA, during the National American Legion Conference in 1920.

Since 2018, more than 60,000 people from around the world have visited the Poppy Wall of Honor to pause and reflect on the significance of this holiday, remembering those who gave their lives for our freedoms.

Ways to Honor and Remember This Memorial Day

For those unable to visit the Poppy Wall of Honor in Washington, D.C., USAA is offering other ways that Americans can honor the day, including:Discover stories of the fallen with #PoppyInMemory on social media and join the conversation to keep their memory alive.

Talia's Steakhouse & Bar on the Upper West Side of Manhattan has been serving Passover Seders and meals for over two decades. The glatt kosher NYC restaurant is strictly Orthodox and observes all Jewish laws, so all reservations must be prepaid prior to the start of the holiday.

Passover 2026, or Pesach, begins at sundown on April 1st, and concludes on April 9thh. Talia's will serve non-communal Seder meals on April 1st and 2nd, including all traditional required Seder items and foods, such as haggadahs and wine, accordding to Ashkenazi tradition. Talia's will also be serving holiday lunches and dinners, and will be open with a regular a la carte menu for all of Chol Hamoed.

Whether one has a large group or is a single person, Talia's is ready to accommodate.

Talia's has already started taking reservations for Pesach 2026. Seats are already filling up quickly, so it is recommended to make reservations as soon as possible.

With so many repeat customers and fans, it's no wonder that Talia's Steakhouse has built such a "Haute" reputation. As one customer puts it: "You oughtta be the best, most progressive-still-frum place".
