It's WHOM YOU KNOW and the Masters of the Universe in Manhattan, female and male, gather in business conversation and spectacular cuisine at 52 Vanderbilt Avenue: Ammos Estiatorio by Dimitris Nakos, Home of the Power Lunch!  
It's been a Peachy's Pick since 2011, and its versatility is only one aspect of its consummate excellence that sets the standard in fine dining in New York.  Recently, Ammos was lauded in February for its accolades in personal relationships because you know what holiday happens in that month!  Today, we highlight the finer points of why titans of the business world flock like the deal-making Hawkish of Wall Street, Legal Eagles and Hollywood Heavyweights (you KNOW how much is filmed here...) all choose 52 Vanderbilt Avenue at Ammos Estiatorio to seal the deal.  
Peachy Deegan is a cappuccino enthusiast and they even have skim milk for Ms. Superpicky.
We do hear though that they make an absolutely smashing Arnold Palmer and it's quite popular with the lunch crowd: 50/50 iced tea and lemonade.  
 
Maybe drinking that Arnold makes you feel like you are on the golf course, so tee up for the best appetizers in town!  Kalamari is a classic, and the seafood does not get better than Ammos, which sets the standard in New York.  Just west of Grand Central Terminal, Ammos can be thought of the Grand Central of Seafood!  Grilled with Ladolemono Sauce or Crispy with Lemon Caper Aioli, these are perfectly tender and not overcooked or undercooked and Goldilocks Peachy says they are JUST RIGHT.  
It's spinach pie anywhere else, but it is a singing singular sensation to your tastebuds at Ammos!
The Spanikopita is a proven classic, and it's dressed to the nines at Ammos, further accentuated with a signature tomato highlight that you don't see anywhere else and barrel-aged feta rocketing the flavor to the statosphere.  The layers upon layers of Greek Goodness await your appetite and anyone that thinks going out to lunch is not healthy is proven wrong with this commitment to the Mediterranean diet designed exclusively by Dimitris Nakos, an Athens native.  Mint evoo classes it up another notch and it's a total winner.

Lambburgers are rare, and ours was a perfect medium rare at Ammos, as ordered!
Ammos sets itself apart by taking American classics and turning them Greek!
Dimitris Nakos, whom we've known since 2011, is the powerhouse behind your amazing Ammos experience and is the epitome of a restaurant owner being committed to excellence.
Not only is the Bifteki Arni, which is the Greek term for Lambburger, absolutely a carnivorous victory, but also it's set off by fresh produce of lettuce, tomato and vidalia and red onions and it's Greek with its Pita giving it a hug and its Oregano Fries vaulting into superlatively creamy Tzatziki.
The fish at Ammos should have its own zip code, it's so fresh coming from Greece every day and in such a swimmingly fetching variety!  The day we visited, Turbo Fish was making a splash on the menu and it's what you see smiling at you now, however, you can be confident that each and every day that you visit the absolute freshest poisson is on the menu for your enjoyment and to motivate you further to close that deal!  Better business happens with happy stomachs.
