Spring is here and the Goddess Eos has come down to earth starting this Saturday for Brunch at Ammos!  Ammos Estiatorio is having Brunch for the first time ever, and every Saturday starting this Saturday May 21st from noon to 6pm the EOS BRUNCH will be in full swing complete with fire performers, belly dancers and DJ's.  Eos is the Greek Goddess of the Dawn who rose each morning from her home at the edge of the river Oceanus.


The Farmers Omelette is a superlative Eos Brunch option complete with three organic eggs, Greek Sausage, mixed vegetables, and Ammos home fries heightened with a lemon kick and served with fresh marinara sauce and yogurt cream.  It is a sunrise of a start to your day and you will be eating like a Goddess yourself.  There are many new menu items including Greek Toast, Avocado Toast, Steak and Eggs, Poached Eggs including Mediterranean Benedict and Seafood Benedict, and all of the options we show you visually described by Peachy Deegan.

Peachy's personal favorite of the Brunch items she tried was the Salmon Omelette!  The perfectly seared salmon sections perch majestically upon those beautiful organic eggs and are joined by spring favorites leeks, shallots and chives and rounded out wonderfully with yogurt cream.  An indulgent commencement to your day, the Salmon Omelette packs a punch of protein and the flavor combination cannot be beat.  Those Mediterranean lemon home fries come to the party and amp it up!
No brunch is complete without the celebratory vino and the Goldvine Chardonnay is ideal as it is uplifting, bright and fresh.  Created in the Greek City of Nemea in Peloponnese, this chardonnay is aged in French Oak barrels for only three months, yielding a whole-bodied, fresh, fruity, elegant white wine that pairs well with a variety of Eos Brunch options.  Its tremendous versatility and summery sensational sips receive high accolades.
Penne Kipou, which means garden in Greek, is a tantalizing vegetable delight as these multi-color bell peppers, cauliflower, tomatoes and more have a party on a plate and the pesto sauce reaches a level of true divinity.  Continuing along the healthy theme, say enchante to the Glossa Burger below.  Glossa is the Greek Filet of Sole and the Mediterranean fish filet is a delicious celebration of the sea and elevated with further flavor with a herb infusion.  Iceberg lettuce, red onion and tomato rejoice along with it and the tartar sauce, fragrant pickles with crunch and outstanding ammos fries make this a supremely tantalizing delight.
